Dottie is now an AKC CHAMPION!   She joined our family when she was 4 months old, via Karen Dennehy of Small World Puppies, who imported her from Serbia.

She is a classically fearless Cavalier King Charles Spaniel: never fearful or shy.  She is up for anything, any time.  Dottie is the last to come inside, even on a deep-snow day.  She is playful, fun-loving, sweet and snuggly.  She is NEVER in a bad mood.  She has more energy than my other girls but is no less affectionate or gentle.  And make no mistake—she enjoys being a couch potato just as much as the rest of the Cavaliers around here.

Dottie has won in the show ring multiple times, even defeating my Grand Champion, Butterfield Marguerite, three or four times.   Judges love her gorgeous head, eyes, beautiful movement and delightful personality.  Her Hip scores show that the joint is not what it should be, so we take that into consideration in her breeding partners.  Dottie will be bred only to males with exceptional Hip scores, to counteract that weakness.  Her skeletal dysplasia test is negative (that’s GOOD!) and her other joints test as perfect.  We are confident that she is well-made and her musculature and ligamentation are clearly very good, as she has perfect movement and is very active.  If this Hip score is a deal breaker for you, then you can choose accordingly.

Dottie’s pedigree is in Serbian, which makes it difficult to understand.  But if you look at the screenshot photos in the gallery, we have circled the champions and international champions in her bloodline.  I’ve also included photos of her parents in the gallery.  Her International Champion father is tricolor and her mother is Blenheim.
