Telly’s first year was spent in a sad place where she didn’t get a lot of human interaction.  She is coming out of her shell, and at 22 months old is recapturing her lost puppyhood.  She is slowly opening like a watered flower, and her confidence is gaining every day.  Her baseline temperament is clearly quiet and peaceful.  She plays confidently with the other dogs at my house and is most comfortable when I leave her alone.  BUT she is learning that low-key snuggles on mom’s lap are the best part of the day.  Her Dam is a beautiful Ruby and her Sire is a Grand Champion Blenheim, and you can see all of his information at sscavaliers.com She has never been bred before coming to us, and we will be carefully managing her breeding career, hoping she will thrive as a mother and caretaker to her puppies.

After a few months of super-nutrition and socializing, we are proceeding with health testing for Telly.  So far, she has a clear heart and eyes, great patellas and clear DNA results for DM, DECC and EFS.  Telly gets along with every dog she meets and she is good at settling.   More to come!
