Cavalier King Charles Spaniel puppies.

King Charles Cavalier female Blenheim puppy, 10 weeks old, sits in the green grass serenely gazing with her dark eyes into the camera. Perfect symmetrical white blaze, russet ears and eye patches and black button nose.

“But I don’t WANT a boy puppy! Girls are better pets.”
This is a common piece of misinformation. It just isn’t true in this breed!

In my experience and the experience of my fellow Cavalier breeders….
  • Both females AND males that are not spayed/neutered will mark in the house if they are not properly trained.
  • Females are typically hunters and mothers in the Canis genus of animals, making them more likely to be territorial and protective, especially if they aren’t spayed. Mine are definitely like this!
  • Male Cavaliers are famous for their lovable, goofy personalities and extreme affection and attachment to their humans. Also, they lay around a lot.
  • Service dog training organizations do NOT choose their candidates based on sex. Instead they look for intelligence, a desire to please, and a love of accomplishment.
  • Male Cavaliers typically LOVE to have a “job” and respond quickly to training, and are no less trainable than females.
  • Our Cavaliers are bred for temperament. We choose aligning and complementary temperaments so we know you will get that classically loving Cavalier puppy—no matter what sex it is.
